THE ROLE
As an essential member of our team, you'll take on thrilling responsibilities:
Managing and developing client portfolios under the direction of our Partners
Supporting the growth and development of junior team members by providing constructive feedback, guidance, and ensuring the quality review of their work, all while delivering value-added services to our clients.
Assuming full responsibility for assigned tasks
Overseeing the preparation and review of complex individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns
Analyzing client data and transactions, and setting up accounts in accordance with our standards
Collaborating with the administration team for timely lodgments
Identifying business opportunities within your client base
Fulfilling any other organizational duties.
REQUIREMENTS
To thrive in this exhilarating role, you should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
CPA certification is preferred.
Over 2 years of experience as an Intermediate/Senior Tax Accountant.
Excellent English communication skills.
Public practice experience supporting multiple clients.
Advanced knowledge of Australian Tax laws.
A deep understanding of the corporation's act, relevant accounting standards, and tax legislation.
Proficiency in different accounting software (Xero preferred).
Advanced working knowledge of Income Tax, GST, Business Activity Statements, AR, AP, Payroll, and other accounting duties.
