Your Role and Responsibilities
This role encompasses various activities to ensure smooth, timely and accurate payroll operations, compliant with Kyndryl regulations as well as local legal requirements. This involves working closely with Kyndryl employees as well as members of other teams.
Key Accountabilities
Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
Execute payroll related activity to ensure timely and accurate payment to Kyndryl employees
Coordinate and execute statutory reporting for payroll, social security and taxation.Ensure timely delivery of services in line with payroll cycles.
Perform appropriate controls on payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and auditability of payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management
Keep updates about the process changes in payroll.
Ensure all back-up documentation is stored as per the Kyndryl and legal record retention rules.
Manage payroll vendor: ensure contract and PO are in place, monitor PO, validate invoices, and participate in regular service call/meeting with the vendor.
Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Keep management informed and up to date about the work progress and share all relevant information timely and precisely.
Assist in audit operations and implement audit recommendations
Solid understanding of employment law, regulatory and legal compliance to address notifications and propose solutions
Support process improvement initiatives
Support projects
Back-up colleagues whenever needed (planned or unplanned absence
Perform in a timely manner all HR related tasks (e.g. claiming, holidays) as well as those tasks coming from internal guidelines of Kyndryl (e.g. completion of mandatory trainings, Reflection, Objectives, etc.)
Support clean desk policy
Commitment to participate in those trainings the management consider suitable for professional development
Take on and perform other tasks the management assigns beside the regular and day to day tasks
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Fluent in English
Knowledge of payroll programs and MS office tools
Good time management
High degree of professionalism and ability to communicate with various levels of management.
Good problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge in other HR processes such as benefits and compensation
Ability to identify risk, solve problems and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Previous experience in a similar role of at least 2-3 years (preferable but not essential as knowledge Transfer will be given)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business and Human Resources (preferable but not essential)
Experience in labor law and social security legislation of countries (preferable but not essential as knowledge will grow)
