Having all the overview of the cost from our Custodian Banks or Brokers, ING will be able to negotiate to lower the fees from external parties and this will eventually be a savings for the firm. For Account Maintenance, the main purpose is to centralize the Opening & Closing of accounts that requires approval from Global Heads. The team mitigates the risk exposure of ING by limiting the accounts opened with external banks.
