Responsibilities
Mainly in charge of general and subsidiary ledger accounts.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by ensuring policies are observed.
Guides accounting associates by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Support monthly and annual close process.
Perform account analysis to make sure that entries and balances are correct.
Reconcile accounts with the general ledger to ensure that all transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
Requirements
Graduate of BS in Accountancy
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
High integrity and professionalism
Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
Understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) & BIR regulations applicable to tax filings/ payments (CWT, final tax, VAT, DST, FBT)
Experience with accounting software - QuickBooks Enterprise
Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with excel functions, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
