Responsibilities:
Analyse commercial financial data on a monthly basis and prepare reports for the leadership team.
Using the commercial contracts for top vendors develop a view of prepayment structures.
Analyse commercial contract payment structures against monthly reports produced by finance.
Working with the shared services team to understand and ensure data quality and accuracy with contract payments.
Identify and remediate corrections to finances
Provide commercial data analysis and working collaboratively with the different team to ensure their understanding are aligned with the finance team.
Analyse commercial data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Support of the process administration as required
Provide insight to the commercial team with respect to data accuracy. e.g. software contracts, prepayment schedules
Review the commercial contract plans against invoices received by network supplier (Orange Business Services).
Involved in annual budget forecast and preparation
Identify and facilitate the completion of accruals and journals
Handles month end journals and book closing of accounts on a monthly basis
Maintain schedules and monitoring of fixed asset register, insurances amortisations and CAPEX depreciation
Qualification/s:
3+ years of experience in a similar role or general accounting/finance, taxation, budgeting and contract management experience is an advantage
Has reporting and auditing background/experience
Relevant Accounting qualification required and/or part way through studying CPA or CA qualification is an advantage
Demonstrated ability to use initiative to resolve problems and issues, prioritise work to meet deadlines, and ability to drive team collaboration.
Technical knowledge of financial systems and processes.
Experience in a global Shared Services organisation in a commercial environment is a definite advantage.
Background in process improvement and process automation
Good oral/written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
