Job Title: Senior Accounant
Reports To: Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting - Financial Planning and Analysis
Duties & responsibilities include the following:
• Provide valuable analysis and support to Production, Enabling Function and Management on the Company's financial results, business drivers and other relevant highlights
• Investigate, understand and provide effective feedback or inputs on variances and concerns noted
• Prepare and present accurate, timely and insightful operations and management financial reports
• Act as Finance Business Partner for the Production Team (Vertical) by providing recommendations and financial strategies on how to be more cost efficient and more confident in making business decisions and improve their KPI (Revenue and Gross Margin)
• Assist Management in the preparation of management reports for the Company and Production Team (Vertical)
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business, Finance covering areas in any of the following functions/specialization:
o Management Accounting (i.e. Financial Planning and Analysis, Forecasting and Budgeting, Management Reporting)
o Financial/General Accounting (i.e. Financial Reporting (Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis), Accounts Review, Reconciliation and Analysis (Balance Sheet and Profit &Loss))
o Audit (i.e. External Audit of Financial Statements)
• Knowledgeable in Philippine Accounting Standards and Reporting
• Process and Innovative Mindset
• Process Improvement experience/exposure
• Experience in Business Partnering and Communication Skills that translates to the satisfaction of all stakeholders - Strong stakeholder management
• Possesses good analytical skills, organized and with good interpersonal skills
Work and Time Requirements:
• 8-hour work shifts, Monday to Friday
• Variations in work volume and business needs may require extended working hours
Educational and Work Experience:
• 5-7 years' related work experience in any of the following functions/specialization (in a multi-national company setting, process outsourcing or financial services industry is a plus but not required):
o Management Accounting (i.e. Financial Planning and Analysis, Forecasting and Budgeting, Management Reporting)
o Financial/General Accounting (i.e. Financial Reporting (Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis), Accounts Review, Reconciliation and Analysis (Balance Sheet and Profit &Loss))
o Audit (i.e. External Audit of Financial Statements)
o Business, Finance Course
• CPA not required but a plus
• Experience in Business Partnering and Support - Strong stakeholder Management
• Process and Innovative Mindset
• Process Improvement Experience/Exposure
• Knowledgeable in Accounting and Management Reporting Systems (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, BI360 / AI / RPA exposure, preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, Work, Power Point, Outlook)
