Demand Science Team Inc is looking for a Full-Charge Senior Accountant who's proactive and works well in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have experience in handling and organized multiple small company books. This role will be working with some accounting matters and working hand in hand to our US General Manager and work directly as the accountant on some of our investments.
Responsibilities:
Set-up and maintain multiple company books
Prepare financial statements and reports needed by the General Manager
Maintain books of accounts and recording of all transactions in adherence with local practices
Prepare bank and credit card reconciliation and recording of journal entries
Process disbursements/payments and receipts
Manage monthly/quarterly and year-end closing of books
Prepare and analyze monthly budgets and forecasts
Coordinate on tax, auditor and legal.
Filing and payment of tax returns and other government obligations
Prepare payroll for the companies, small teams to start, but could grow.
Assist the General Manager on any accounting and admin matters and provide financial insights to the Company
Requirements
Graduate of Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in the related field including but not limited to General Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Payroll and Finance
Excellent knowledge in MS office and familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus
Has experience with start-up companies and knowledgeable on local and government requirements
Great attention to details
Good communication skills
Some experience in HR is a plus
Can work in PH time with flexibility of handling US time when necessary
Flexible and can work with young entrepreneurs
