Month End Close Activities including Journal Entries
Fixed Assets Accounting
Assists in PTP processing and analyzation
Complete Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reconciliations as per agreed timelines with accurate and adequate inputs based on research on the open items
Effectively driving the changes while redesigning and implementing controls to the changing landscape to meet compliance requirements
Understand client requirements/expectations and align teams accordingly
Maintain effective communication with the client community to understand their problems and needs
To take proactive initiatives to resolve complex issues
Contribute to projects to deliver continuous lean and digital improvements.
Reviews and obtains proper validation and approval for processing vendor invoices
Requirements
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
Must have at least 3 years of working experience in bookkeeping and general ledger
PTP experience is a plus
With particularly good communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and has good analytical skills
Methodical and organized
Strong and proficient computer skills i.e. Excel formulas, Google sheet, Xero and others
Responsible, independent, self-motivated and with sense of risk
Can work with minimum supervision
Pro-active approach to his/her work and the team
With "can-do" attitude
Ability to handle pressure, including willingness to work the extra hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
