About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team, helping to support our group of companies, from our newly created hub in Manila. The successful applicant will work as a key member within the finance and accounting team. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will help to ensure the financial viability of Fusion's group companies through effective operational financial management in accordance with financial, statutory, legal and company requirements.
About the role
Assisting GAM, FC with financial reporting to directors and internal management
Assisting GAM, FC with the preparation of Budgets
Oversea and management of all accounts payable and receivable
Investigate variances from the budget and rectify accordingly
Oversea follow up overdue receivables weekly (if required)
Oversea Balance Sheet financial reconciliations and reporting
Oversea & Prepare IAS & BAS (Tax compliance)
Maintain correct accounting, taxation and audit requirements
Assist external accountant with Annual compliance requirements
Oversea of financial reports and analysis including profit and loss and balance sheet
Review and analyse operating results/profit performance for job/projects and budgets
Prepare monthly financial and management accounts & reporting
Prepare all Statutory Annual Financial Reports
Prepare and review all tax reporting (for e.g. PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, GST and FBT)
Ensure financial compliance with the relevant codes, acts, regulations and standards
Preparation of Cashflow reports
Weekly Bank reconciliations
About you
International or Australian Company experience advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce
CA/CPA qualified (PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS)MYOB (Advance)
Demonstrated experience in financial and management accounting
Accountant min 5 years' experience compulsory
Demonstrated strong commercial/business acumen
Demonstrated ability to understand and work in an SME environment based overseas in US Australia and HK
Worked for US/Australian Hong Kong entity
Xero (Advance)
Cin 7 Inventory System
Job Management (SourceIt, Streamtime)
Karbon
Worked for Accounting firm
Knowledge of financial business planning and budgeting
Knowledge of current Financial and Management Accounting
Knowledge of financial legislation, regulations and standards
Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Keen detail orientation and high level of accuracy
Excellence in written and verbal communication
Critical thinking and analytical ability
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
