Qualifications & experience
MUST be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a combination of staff and senior positions.
Experience in developing detailed documentation and communicating financial information and results.
Credit Card Processing or Bankcard Industry experience.
Solid experience in Bank Reconciliation and experience in using Oracle is a plus but not required.
Tasks & responsibilities
Serve as a primary reviewer of journal entries and reconciliations prepared by Junior and Staff Accountants.
Ensure proper portfolio maintenance and mitigate risk by timely researching and escalating variances. Assist and coach staff through issue resolution.
Prepare and present monthly financial statement results and report on variances to the Accounting and Finance management team.
Ensure all financial information is recorded in accordance with GAAP and Federal and State regulations and consistent with established Company policy and procedures.
Perform and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations with an in-depth analysis. Ensure due diligence and service level agreement for portfolio maintenance is consistently met.
