Job Title: Senior Accountant (AU)
Work Setup & Schedule:
Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 8AM to 5PM)
What you'll be doing:
Will directly communicate with the client via email and call
Handle AU bookkeeping and payroll clients using Xero
Perform EOM closing and management reporting
Prepare business activity statements and perform clean up catch up of client accounts
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
What will make you a great fit:
CPA (preferable)
Has at least 2 - 3 years of Australian Bookkeeping/Compliance experience using Xero accounting software.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, in a highly automated environment, with strict monthly reporting deadlines.
Is willing to extend himself beyond the immediate demands of the assignment and to accept new responsibilities.
Has experience in reviewing and evaluating tasks of other team members.
Demonstrate potential leadership, sound business judgment, and administrative capability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keen to details and highly organized.
Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in handling client's problems.
