THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant/ Accounting Expert will oversee all financial documents and reporting systems in compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. This person will be responsible for audit activities and manage financial reporting.
SCHEDULE: 9 AM - 5 PM Central Daylight Time (10 PM - 7 AM Philippine Local Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Manage local entity general ledgers - review and record transactions timely and accurately
· Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
· Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures
· Coordinate all audit activities
· Produce financial reports or statements regularly
· Collaborate with financial staff to ensure smooth day-to-day transactions
· Establish and manage financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
· Assist in setting forecasts and budgets to ensure business profitability
· Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
· Lead policy and procedure creation and administration, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor's degree is preferred
· Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
· Extensive knowledge of audit and tax practices
· Proven track record in bookkeeping
· Experience in budgeting and forecasting
· Understand corporate structures and tax accounting
· Expertise in creating and administering policies and procedures
· Proficiency in using Xero accounting software
· Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
· Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
· Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
· Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment-independent worker, self-directed
