Position Summary:
Responsible for execution of various consumer marketing and advertising projects including management of creative and production related process, and maintaining brand consistency and integration globally. Comprehensive understanding of brand management as well as the ability to negotiate, work with cross-functional teams and deliver projects in a timely manner. Forecasting and budgetary responsibilities also required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Marketing Manager to oversee creative execution of campaigns directed to consumers including television, consumer and Trade print, radio and Out of Home.
Execute consumer-advertising communications and or consumer promotions to reinforce brand positioning and meet strategic objectives.
Develop briefs for and oversee execution of all consumer and trade print advertising (includes e-newsletter listings, online listings, in-book listings, e-blasts, social, digital ads, videos, OOH, radio, etc).
Manage and execute all preparation, details, coordination for related TV, video and print shoots including prepping contracts, negotiating costs, determining quality control standards, and ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
Assist in the development of creative and leveraging assets for global use for the promotion of branded programs in order to generate awareness and revenue.
Project Manage highly visible cross department projects
Work with Manager as the marketing representative among sales, HR, purchasing, hotel operations and other areas to ensure the brand is positioned consistently within internal and external communications.
Assist Manager in development of yearly plan and budget forecast and manage monthly billing process including accruals for agency and production costs, and consultant fees.
Provides accurate and timely brand and strategic feedback to Regional Marketing Managers on various marketing initiatives (including print, OOH, radio, collateral, events, e-blasts, etc). This includes copywriting and imagery selection
Facilitates the retouching of images post brand photo shoots and B-Roll development post brand video shoots.
Manages the maintenance of the digital asset library which includes; uploading and captioning latest imagery, managing expired images and providing guidance and support to users.
Manages the Server/Servers which includes, keeping track of storage space, managing inventory, uploading and organizing all assets as they are made available.
Assists Manager in the development of contracts for various projects including: photo & film shoots, music licenses, voiceover agreements, event agreements, agency contracts, stock image/footage agreements, 3rd party video usage agreements, etc.
Maintain updated reporting on Usage Rights and Holding fees for music, visuals, and talent used in Marketing advertising
Provide support to Sales Communication group, which includes providing brand guidance and reviewing marketing materials.
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field.
Three to five years progressive experience in Marketing or related field (media planning, ad agency and travel category experience a plus).
Some form of Production experience in film or photo.
To successfully adhere to the responsibilities stated, this individual must be prepared to travel 15% of the time.
Working knowledge of personal computers within a windows environment with e-mail, and MS Word with advance Excel and PowerPoint skills, along with related printers and equipment.
Leadership skills.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills to be able to communicate with all levels of management, agency contacts and travel agent partners.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to read through statistical data to form decisions.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
