Position Summary:
The Sr. Account Executive, Global Digital Commerce functions as a key member of the day-to-day operations of the Azamara consumer website experience, with increasing online booking conversions as the main goal. This role is responsible for the full end-to-end web journey of new and returning users (prospects and booked guests), owning the development of content and new functional experiences for cruise, onboard, and land products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end deployment of global promotions for cruise, shorex, land program, and onboard revenue
Lead product deployment launches, including new ships, new sailings, and other product releases
Partner with various internal and global teams to define product focuses, merchandising strategy and communication cadence
Develop and deploy optimization A/B testing roadmaps with agency partner, reporting results and moving successful tests to development
Maintain content updates to product description pages and brand information pages
Support best practices in content development, SEO, and site architecture, accessibility requirements, and data privacy requirements to ensure optimal web journey for all global users
Monitor technical performance and troubleshoot prioritized defects and bugs with IT and agency partners
Support analytics tagging and reporting, ensuring regular reporting on web performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end basis
Support transition work for brand's future digital platforms as a standalone global cruise company
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:
Bachelor's in communication, journalism, marketing or other related field; MBA or Master's in communication a plus
Minimum two years in-house ecommerce support role or ecommerce agency experience
Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
Experience with HTML, CSS, and updating content in a CMS such as Drupal
Optimization experience for A/B/MVT testing and reporting in Adobe Target or Monetate
Scrum/agile methodology certifications a plus
