Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science & Technology is preferred
Any experience and keen interest in NOC and SOC , Security would be an advantage.
Any experience with tools such as Cyciv, Sentinel One, ProofPoint, Netskope, Intruder, Security ScoreCards, LastPass would be advantageous (but not required)

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Security Platform Junior Analyst you will gain experience provide excellent customer service and be the first point of Company Security Platform for incidents & response, change management, day to day incoming queries from internal and external partners.
You will use gain experience in using variety of tools such as Cyciv, Sentinel One, ProofPoint, Netskope, Intruder. Investigate incidents and take immediate action or recommend a course of action to safeguard Company's Services & Clients
You will gain experience in successful management and maintenance of systems and services within Company, and ensuring that the production services perform effectively, while maintaining a high level of customer (internal and external) satisfaction.
The administrator is conversant with procedures, such as change management, automation, and revision control. They need to configure and deploy security operating platforms and maintain it.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will gain experience to carry out the following functions as part of the Security Platform team:
REAL-TIME ALERT MANAGEMENT & MONITORING
Act as front line to the Security Platform team, review, analyse the automated alerts using the Alerting tooling.
Prioritise alerts for severity, verify that alert is legitimate and take an action.
Scan, report and escalate security or disruption issues affecting business travellers in line with global reporting guidance and thresholds
Answer incoming hot line calls and monitor various e-mail accounts and act according to Security Platform procedures and processes
INCIDENT RESPONSE & COORDINATION
Identify & coordinate the information security incident process, including investigating or working with relevant teams to deal with the incidents, identify the root cause and amend policies when required
Document all incidents and create a clear narrative that supports their conclusions
Maintain detailed notes within Operational Management systems on all security issue resolution activities
SECURITY ASSESTS INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT & MAINTANENCE
Daily assessment of vulnerabilities identified by infrastructure scan
Support the team's efforts in proactively managing the software and hardware lifecycle of the various network platforms, carrying out upgrades as necessary.
Contribute to establishing, developing, and revising processes to build and strengthen the Security Management, administration & maintenance of security devices under the responsibility of the Security Platform
