Job Description:
The Security Access Administrator will be responsible in executing user access provisioning and de-provisioning activities. This role will provide first level support on user access related issues. The responsibilities will also include promotion and enforcement of the logical access controls and security standards in accordance to set procedures. Also, the Security Access Administrator will help identify opportunities for improvement in the current processes and participate in the Identity Management program.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree holder
2+ years as an Access Control Administrator in Sun Life or 3+ years equivalent elsewhere
Familiarity with computing platforms, operating systems and databases (Windows, Mainframe, Lotus Notes, Outlook, Active Directory, IAM Cloud)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work in a demanding environment by prioritizing tasks and escalating/communicating issues as required
Responsibilities:
Manage file system access across a multi-domain Active Directory environment to provide and revoke access as requested
Providing first level support on access related queries (via Phone, WP Chat & Departmental Mailboxes)
Acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk and clients
Developing and maintaining IAM process, procedure and documents
Ensuring compliance with established SLAs
Providing SLA compliance reports and metrics
Enforcing standards from the 'Logical Access Security Directive' as it applies to user and logical access
Troubleshooting and resolving access related issues
Completing Quality Control requirements
Coaching more junior members of the team
Participate in meetings where required
