Job Description
As aScrum Master, youll be the backbone of our client's CCM Information Technology Scrum team. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the seamless operation of the Scrum methodology within the team. By keeping the team aligned and focused, facilitating meetings, and dismantling obstacles, youll play a pivotal role in our client's agile journey. Moreover, you might take on a broader organizational role to instill Scrum principles across the board under the guidance of the Lead Scrum Master.
Here's an overview of your future role:
Employment type: Full-time
Shift: Night Shift (8 AM 5 PM US Eastern Time Zone)
Work Setup: Hybrid, Makati (On-site at least twice a week)
What do you need to succeed
A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Scrum certification(s) a valuable plus.
1-2 years experience as a Scrum Master.
2 years of experience in cross-team communications and resource management.
Excellent knowledge of the Scrum framework, its processes, artifacts, and techniques.
Coordination prowess to meet deliverable timelines and uphold quality metrics.
Strong active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Leadership by example to motivate team members.
Deep understanding of team and customer needs for high-value deliverables.
Previous experience as a Scrum Master.
Familiarity with software development.
Solid knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Lean, XP, etc.).
Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Self-starter mindset for independent progress and success.
Adaptability to change and driving process adoption.
Experience in leading multiple teams, balancing their needs and progress.

Introduce, coach, and mentor development team members in Agile &; Scrum frameworks.
Facilitate sprint ceremonies: planning, stand-ups, review, retrospectives, sizing, and backlog refinement.
Foster internal communication and effective collaboration across teams.
Be the liaison for external communications with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Lead Scrum Master, BAs, Stakeholders, and PMs for backlog management.
Tackle conflicts, remove obstacles, and escalate issues when needed.
Drive effective and efficient implementation of changes.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
Embrace change management and guide teams in advancing their scrum maturity.
Cultivate a productive environment where team members take ownership of the product.
Implement and track metrics to communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership.
Manage stakeholders by setting expectations and maintaining feedback channels.
Maintain Scrum process documentation and reporting.
Multitask and balance progress across multiple fronts/teams at varying stages of maturity.
