Negotiable Permanent contract Full Time
The Sales Support role is a newly created role due to growth.
It is primarily an administrative role with a core customer service focus to maintain existing relationships with customers. Previous sales support experience is a must.
Major Responsibilities
• Manage customer contact and upselling
• Develop and maintain customer-specific promotions calendar
• Work with customers to create consumer offers
• Provide regular sales reporting and summaries for Business Development team
• Maintain customer pricing lists
• Investigate new customer categories as needed
• Build and maintain positive and interactive relationships with all customers
• Cold calling and business development
• Marketing initiatives to grow sales within customer networks
• Consistently maintain a professional attitude and behaviour
• Develop a measurable personal action plan
• Understanding order processing & Data entry and basic administrative duties
Role Summary
* The person will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with current customers while supporting the current sales team across the cleaning category.
* The role is expected to retain existing business while pursuing profitable growth opportunities within these customer accounts within the Retail category nationally.
The Sales Support person will be a team player with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
*Ability to work under pressure in FMCG would be highly desirable.
Requirements
Minimum education level: Vocational
1 year of experience
Language(s): English
Knowledge: Information technology
