Sales Reporting and Analytics Specialist - NCR Hospitality Enterprise Sales Operations
The NCR Hospitality Operations Team is seeking a Sales Reporting and Analytics specialist. As part of our team you will join a group of passionate analysts to support the creation and implementation of data led strategies and own the ongoing reporting and analytics that support our Hospitality Enterprise Sales.
You will provide standard data sets, KPI's and metrics as well as deep insights and advanced analytics to senior leaders across the business. You will create, analyze, maintain consistent and ad hoc reporting out of various tools and present consistent dynamic data driven findings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, the Sales Reporting and Analytics Specialist may be expected to perform some, or all the duties listed, and complete special projects and other tasks as assigned or that evolve during the normal course of business.
Develop working relationships with business stakeholders to become a trusted partner for their data and analytical needs and demonstrate 'big picture' understanding of NCR's business drivers
Provide standard and creative reporting solutions to help solve business problems or make decisions
Ability to understand business goals and translate them into Predictive and Prescriptive analytics
Being able to interpret the data models that are being generated
Closing the loop to make sure that the reporting is accurate, relevant and providing value as it should and is correctly understood by stakeholders
Working closely with Sales and Sales Operations Leaders on cadence driven and ad hoc reporting and presentations which includes exception reporting and dashboards in SFDC and assistance preparing for team meetings out of salesforce.com and other sources of data
Pulling, merging and consolidating data for special projects and initiatives that require analysis and quick or long-term decision making
Proactively identify, prioritize, and conduct analyses that drive meaningful change on key objectives established by NCR leadership
Competencies Required:
Communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates and business stakeholders
Able to filter through the ambiguity of business problems and produce a high-quality analysis
Synthesize actionable insights by joining large data sets from across the company, and applying appropriate analytical techniques
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to progress multiple analyses in parallel
Ability to work effectively across functions, disciplines and levels
Skill in identifying data issues and anomalies during analysis
High energy and used to working in a demanding fast paced work environment
Educational Level & Experience:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, analytics, finance
5+ years of relevant analytics work experience
Prior experience working with large quantitative and qualitative datasets
Highly Proficient in salesforce.com, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI a plus
