SALES EXECUTIVE

Job Summary:
 
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our travel agency team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling our travel services and packages. The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales skills, a deep understanding of the travel industry, and the ability to create tailored travel experiences that meet our customers' needs.
 
Responsibilities:
 
1.   Sales and Revenue Generation:
Promote and sell a wide range of travel services, including airline tickets, hotel accommodations, tours, and vacation packages.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Negotiate pricing and terms to secure bookings and maximize profitability.
2.  Client Acquisition and Retention:
Identify and target new clients through various sales strategies, including cold calls, referrals, and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
3.  Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry developments.
Demonstrate expertise in various travel products, services, and destinations, offering tailored recommendations to clients.
4.  Itinerary Planning:
Create and customize travel itineraries for individual clients or groups, taking into account their preferences, budgets, and special requests.
Provide comprehensive information on trip logistics, visa requirements, travel insurance, and other relevant details.
5.  Customer Support and Assistance:
Offer pre-trip and post-trip support, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and emergencies promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and ensure a seamless travel experience for clients.
6.  Sales Documentation and Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales activities.
Prepare and process travel bookings, reservations, and related paperwork efficiently and accurately.
7.  Market Analysis and Strategy:
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences to develop effective sales strategies and marketing plans.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional campaigns.
8.  Compliance and Regulations:
Stay informed about travel-related regulations, safety guidelines, and industry standards.
Ensure all bookings and transactions comply with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the travel industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is an advantage.
A passion for travel and personal travel experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
