Prepares and develops technical presentations to explain the company's products or services to customers.
Discusses equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Generates high-quality sales leads, follows up after initial contact, secures and renews orders, negotiates prices, completes sales, and arranges deliveries.
Researches, develops and modifies products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
Helps customers who have problems with installed products and recommends improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
Solicits and logs client feedback and evaluates the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
Identifies areas for improvement and communicates these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
Sets and achieves sales goals and quotas.
Trains other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.
Experience in sales and the technology field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
Good leadership and team working skills.
Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.
