About the role:
We are seeking a talented and competitive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support and generate new leads for our Sales Team. This job requires very strong skills, high performance in outbound sales prospecting and qualification using a number of available tools.
You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

About the day-to-day responsibilities:
Sourcing new sales opportunities through a variety of prospecting techniques and tools on a daily basis (email, phone calls, Marketing Qualified Leads, social selling, and even face-to-face events)
Qualifying marketing and outbound leads and reporting them to the Sales Head for a discovery session
Actively listen to understand what customers need and confidently communicate ZipHR's value proposition in a consultative manner
Set up meetings and/or demos with decision-makers of middle to large enterprises with the sales team and follow up with a high volume of leads quickly
Building the sales prospect pipeline using CRM tools and ensuring the updated accuracy of data
Work alongside other inside sales team members to help them reach lead targets
Stay in sync with the sales team, understand the market response, and customer profiles, and incorporate relevant feedback in the outreach process
Research, develop, and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive more demos
Requirements
About what we're looking for:
Proven outbound prospecting track record with medium to large enterprise companies. Should have a record of success and over-achievement (in work or school-based setting)
Experience using a CRM to track lead progress (we use Zendesk and Pipedrive in the near future)
Able to identify a prospect's needs and translate those needs into a potential fit for the ZipHR SaaS solution
Ambitious, enthusiastic, tenacious, ability to succeed with limited supervision and full of win
A consummate team player who enjoys wearing multiple hats and inspiring everyone around you to do great work
Technically proficient and experienced with web technologies (able to present pros/cons, use cases/examples, trends, and all that good stuff)
Great at communicating on the phone, over email, and in person
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
