Position Responsibilities
Deltek is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our rapidly growing Partner sales team at Deltek. Your core role will be to work with our Reseller Partners to identify new sales opportunities and develop a well-defined prospect list by a mix of warm and cold calling, developed through the Partner marketing campaigns. Working closely with our Partners and Channel Management Teams, you will progress new business adding to our large customer base.
As a PDR at Deltek, you will attend a thorough onboarding program complete with mentorship guidance to learn about Deltek's product portfolio, our customers, their business challenges, and both Deltek's sales and Partners processes. You will develop robust sales skills along with a variety of techniques and tactics that will help you build direct value for the Partners you work with to facilitate the growth of our Partner Resell channel.
Our passionate focus on learning and professional development, encouraged through your immediate enrollment in the Sales Development Rep (SDR) Advance Program, will ensure you are continuously developing techniques, new skills, and practical strategies that you'll use throughout your career and puts you on track for strong performance and promotion.
As a PDR, you will:
Work in a close-knit team environment to develop and accomplish a lead generation plan that meets or exceeds quota targets.
Work in collaboration with our Resell Partners to cultivate leads and sales pipeline through Partner marketing campaigns to grow their sales of Deltek's solutions.
Contact key decision-makers in a focused number of Small, medium & large sized businesses and generate interest in our solutions.
Cultivate pipeline by acting on Partner marketing leads and conducting strategic outbound campaigns on behalf of Partners.
Collaborate with Partner sales and marketing teams to prioritize efforts, refine selling strategies, share results, and plan next steps.
Participate in sales onboarding, 1:1 training sessions, team meetings, skill building, and professional development classes.
Exceed weekly/monthly goals for meetings, pipeline, and activity.
Capture accurate and complete information in Deltek's sales tools.
Report on lead/SAO performance.
Infuse the sales floor with energy and positivity.
Build pro-active and trusted relationships with Partners, helping them execute marketing campaigns and managing the lead and pipeline generation process.
Understanding and aligning with partner sales processes to support sales success and growth.
Understanding and articulating partner added value service model with the strong ability to represent them successfully to generate sales pipeline.
Proactively research and prospect to conduct outbound cold calling and lead nurturing.
Qualifications
1-2 years business experience, prefer results oriented or sales environment
Self-motivated, driven, and desire to pursue a career in sales
Ability to accelerate in a competitive, rewarding atmosphere
Comfortable making phone calls in an open and positive environment
Prior lead generation experience or outbound calling experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional EMEA Language skills advantageous (German, French, Arabic)
Ability to operate in EMEA (CET) time zone
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM applications is a plus
Proven track record of lead gen quota attainment in a B2B environment
Strong interpersonal telephone and written/electronic communications skills
