Position Purpose:
The Sales Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of Sales in an on-going effort to increase sales productivity and assist in making sound business decisions. He/She will create both standardized and custom reports, quantitative product and sales analysis, provide support for internal, account and consumer promotions, and assess future needs and data integrity. He/She must develop standardized tools, methodologies, and business processes to improve operations efficiency.
Principal Accountabilities:
Build meaningful relationships within the company and the trade
Collect,analyze,evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity
Collect Sales records and trends and evaluate performance measured against sales quotas and internal forecast.
Assist Management in reviewing the sales budget and LE forecast including sales to budget variance analysis
Develop models and reporting structure that identify costs (by function and process) per unit (store, orders etc.) and identify a baseline for action.
Collects and distributes Marketing Promos and analyzes effectivity and impact to Sales Performance.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience:
1 to 2 years' experience in Retail, Trade Marketing or Marketing
Beauty background preferred
Excellent oral and written skills in the English language
Highly knowledgeable in Powerpoint, Word, and Excel
Education:
Degree in Business/Marketing or relevant discipline with at least 1 to 2 years prior work experience in Trade and Category Management; Account Management
Other Essential Must haves:
Excellent oral and written skills in the English language
Highly knowledgeable in Powerpoint, Word, and Excel
Organizational Skills
