ABOUT THE JOB: SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
 
A. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquire new accounts
Manage a portfolio of accounts & takes the lead in negotiating rates (in consultation w/ superiors)
Develop and implement initiatives to grow the corporate, FIT and offline market
Maintain excellent knowledge of the local market
Represent the property at events (trade shows, etc.,) that will help highlight and promote the property. 
Research, identify leads, engage and convert potential clients
Sell all facets of the Cebu Safari Park and cross-sell other
properties.
Establish new business and maintain existing business
accounts through preparation and execution of action
plans.
Actively and aggressively seek out new business by
going on regular sales visits to existing or prospective
clients based on segment handled.
Be able to convert leads into actual bookings/sales.
Must ensure that all bookings are fully paid prior to
event and endorsement to Events Team.
Must be able to do a proper handover/endorsement of
all confirmed bookings to Events Team
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager
Conduct site visits for organizers
Update all details of the booking in the booking system
Prepare contracts, proforma invoices and other official correspondence to guests & organizers for contracted bookings. 
Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Sales & Marketing Manager
B. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 2 years experience in the same capacity in a hotel or resort setting 
Excellent customer service
Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
Excellent objection handling skills 
Natural at acquiring new business & relationship building 
Must be detail-oriented and organized
Honest & trustworthy 
Responsible and result-oriented
Analytical thinking, affinity for numbers 
Fast learning curve in hotel industry expertise 
Drive & commitment to bring in new business 
Courage & resilience to see through short sales cycles 
Graduate of Hotel & Restaurant Management or any business course from top universities is preferred
Knowledge of SketchUp, CorelDRAW, and other 3D designs software is a plus
