SALES ACCOUNT ASSOCIATE
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Collaborating with the sales manager or director to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the hotel's overall goals and objectives.
Managing key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to maximize revenue.
Coordinating and managing the activities of the sales team, organizing sales meetings, and ensuring proper follow-up with leads and inquiries.
Conducting market research and staying updated on industry trends and and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and recommend adjustments to sales strategies.
Monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, and preparing regular reports on sales activities, revenue, and forecasts to inform decision-making and assess the effectiveness of sales efforts.
Collaborating with other hotel departments, such as marketing, revenue management, and operations, to align sales efforts, share information, and ensure a seamless experience for clients.
Providing training and mentoring to the sales team members, supporting their professional development, and helping them improve their sales skills and knowledge.
Ensuring excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries or concerns, resolving issues, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
Assisting in planning and executing sales promotions, events, and activities to attract new clients, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue.
Assisting in the preparation of the sales budget and revenue forecasts, monitoring expenses, and implementing strategies to optimize revenue and achieve financial targets.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to sales activities. Maintaining accurate records, contracts, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Preferably with experience in Sales, Hospitality, Tourism, or related fields
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with PMS
Male or Female
Willing to travel within Cebu and nearby regions
