Advise management in all aspects and changes in statutory safety requirements and proposes safety measures that help reduce accident rates
Inspect and audits all site operations to monitor compliance with all statutory regulations as well as the safety program
Monitor safety condition of the project site and issues warning letters to project staff in case of non-compliance or unsatisfactory performance
Issues work stoppage notice through the Installation Manager for projects of poor safety performance and upon recognition of imminent danger for immediate correction
Monitors and complies accident statistics based from accident frequency, types, and trends
Investigate all related accidents occuring in the project site
Provides safety recommendations after conducting analysis and investigation on site accidents
Promotes the safe execution of work in the project site and provides safety orientation training and briefing for new installers or any other newly hired workers
Prepares and submits monthly report to the Installation Manager
Coordinates with appropriate representatives of Govewrnment or other authorities on Safety program, rules, and regulations
Graduate of any engineering course
Must be proficient both in oral and written communication
Can handle effectively different types of people in the organization
Must be computer literate
With at least 1 year of work experience in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge in Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and other related statutory requirements as prescribed
