Responsibilities:
To work with Regional Management and CAOs to enhance, implement and deliver key controls and regulatory commitments across the regional Rates & Currencies business.
To take on responsibilities within larger projects and report on performance and achievements back to the project manager and or the business sponsor.
Manage the implementation of new product capabilities or new countries.
To align projects where necessary to link in other parts of the organisation particularly overall R&C business team leads in front office and technology
Maintain and monitor the controls environment
Support the expansion and migration initiatives to be transitioned to the team
Review support functions processes and challenge procedures that are not consistent with MSS objectives.
Knowledge/Experience:
Project management skills and experience delivering change in the large institutions, and for complex front to back programs
Some experience gained with blue chip or competitor firms in the supporting financial markets products
Understanding of the Financial Markets and how they are traded
Good technical skills to enable robust and strategic solutions to successfully grow the business.
Skills:
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Strong planning and project management skills
Strong emerging markets knowledge
Strong Front to back understanding of flows
Strong commercial awareness of the product and ability to combine this with technical solutions and ideas
Ability to identify and manage dependencies across large parts of the front office and support infrastructure
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant Markets experience across roles in Finance / operations, or front office
Strong evidence of relevant commercial product experience at blue chip competitor firms
Competencies:
Excellent communication skills
Highly driven and Goal Oriented
Highly organised and efficient at prioritising tasks
Pro-active and strong at building consensus across regions
Attention to detail and accuracy
