Objective of function
Collaborates with a team of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Engineers in supporting existing robots and developing Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as well as the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of new robots. Acts as the initial point of escalation with regards to technical support and maintenance on the operational robots. Collaborates with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand new requirements. Supports the delivery of projects on time, within planned budget and required quality level.
Business Analyst:
Conducts feasibility analysis to business processes
Works with business to quantify the value of automation and ROI analysis
Conducts process discovery to understand steps of the process
Creates business case to justify creation of robots
Facilitates complexity assessment of process to be automated
Stakeholder management in coordinating logistics, updates, and impediments
Job level description
Employees in this level provide detailed and comprehensive support/expertise to a specific area of the business by taking on responsibility for tasks of an organizational, process or operational nature. Requires in-depth experience and a high (advanced or expert) proficiency knowledge level in several aspects of a process. Understands the complex process environment to ensure maximum efficiency. Provides detailed and comprehensive support/expertise to 1 or more areas of business by taking on and being responsible for associated organizational/ operational/process management tasks. Delivers, within a broad and integrated environment, high-quality (custom) solutions for the processing of standard products/files. Is considered as a specialist in a number of processes/products (high risk related) and usually works on a day-to-day basis in an environment of a medium level of complexity with minimal supervision. Has knowledge of the latest developments in the internal market and integrates this knowledge into day-to-day activities. Reports deviations to the appropriate person/body. Understands the mission and vision of the company and has the ability to integrate this in day-to-day activities or as input for projects. Acts in line with ING rules and policies and monitors compliance with these regulations.
Requirements
2 to 4 years relevant experience in developing and testing robots
Robotics knowledge might be replaced with other strong programming skills
2 to 4 years relevant experience in technical support and maintenance on operational robots
Robotics knowledge might be replaced with other strong technical maintenance skills
1 to 2 years relevant experience in business process analysis
Intermediate / Good knowledge of Automation Anywhere
Basic / Intermediate knowledge of Blue Prism
Intermediate understanding and capability to create Excel Macros and Visual Basic Scripts or other coding language
Knowledge of banking product / systems is a pre
