Role Purpose & Environment
The Group Risk and Compliance function is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the Group risk and compliance framework. The Risk and Compliance Manager's role is to drive consistent application of the risk management framework and compliance program across the Group by providing the business with advice, support, and tools to maintain adequate risk management practices and culture.

The key responsibilities include:
Assisting with embedding the TPG Telecom risk management framework and compliance program within the Manila Operations and Shares Services function.
Implementing risk and compliance tools and processes to enhance the monitoring, reporting and escalation of business risks.
Driving identification and business ownership of operational, financial, compliance and emerging risks and related remediation/ mitigating action plans.
Implementing a compliance control program to review and evaluate the adherence to Group policies and local regulations by independently assessing processes and controls in place.
Ensuring key control failures are escalated to appropriate levels of management and remediation plans are agreed and tracked.
Assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting to the Customer Operations and Shared Services Leadership Team.
Assisting with ad-hoc business projects to improve control frameworks for example, working with business stakeholders to improve internal controls following internal or external audits.
Assisting with implementing the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program, including the development and maintenance of business impact assessments and business continuity plans.
Partnering with management to undertake business impact assessments, risk assessments and recovery strategies in the event of a major business disruption.
Acting as a champion for risk, compliance, and governance by encouraging appropriate risk behaviors and risk awareness.
Collaborating with other second line and third line functions to manage risk and remediation activity.
Knowledge and Experience:

5 years+ commercial experience in either risk management, internal audit, or risk advisory consulting role in a large, complex business environment with a strong understanding of risk management concepts and leading practice.
Ability to communicate with clarity, impact, and influence through verbal and written communications.
Ability to develop trusted relationships and influence change.
Highly energetic and motivated with excellent project planning.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Law, Finance, or similar discipline.
Experience in the Telecommunications or Technology sector is highly desirable.
