Role Summary
The Risk & Compliance Associate is responsible for assisting the Risk Management & Compliance Officer in ensuring ATRAM's compliance to regulatory requirements, rules and regulations, as well as adherence to company policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Collate Self-Assessment Declarations, information on Key Risk Indicators covering all business units; and obtain corrective actions as needed
Collect, monitor and follow-up (as needed) submission of required periodic compliance documents from all employees
Perform regulatory compliance testing on various processes covering all business units, and report results of compliance testing on a monthly basis. Monitor resolutions on exceptions noted from the compliance testing performed by closely coordinating with concerned business units.
Maintain a registry of applicable issuances from relevant regulatory agencies (e.g., BSP, AMLC, SEC, BIR)
Assist in the preparation of reports and necessary materials to be used for presentation to senior management and board
Assist in responding to requests and inquiries from counterparties pertaining to KYC information and documentation, including performance of AML and due diligence exercises.
Assist in the review and updating of various manuals to incorporate changes in regulatory requirements, internal policies, processes and procedures.
Perform administrative tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Bachelor's Degree
Preferably with 2-5 years relevant work experience
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity in preparing presentation decks and training instrument materials
Good analytical, interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills
Finance background is preferred.
