Qualifications:
Graduate of BS in Accountancy or equivalent degree.
Preferably with one (1) year work experience, though new CPA without work experience yet will be considered/accommodated.
Willing to work in Pasay (office-based)
Brief Description of Duties:
The Risk and Compliance Assistant (RCA) shall monitor Compliance with the external rules and regulations that are imposed upon the organization as a whole. Specifically, he shall monitor compliance through periodic reviews on the compliance responsibilities of the business and support units by conducting independent testing of the business and operations compliance with relevant EMI and VCE regulations
Responsibilities:
The RCA shall identify, evaluate, and understand all regulatory issuances of BSP, AMLC, SEC, BIR etc. and disseminate the same to all concerned departments and officers.
He shall keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance and internal control.
In coordination with the business and support units' compliance coordinators, he shall be responsible for preparing compliance risk self-assessment (CRSA) checklist / questionnaire and compliance grids to be used in conducting independent compliance testing.
