Work you'll do As a Risk Advisory - Treasury Associate, you will be working on different engagements in the financial services industry that tackles different financial risks such as but not limited to credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, compliance risk, emerging risk, strategic risk, and operational risk. Depending on the nature of the projects or services, you will be: Assisting in the risk model review, validation, or framework development engagements based on Basel I, II, and III, IFRS 9 Financial Instruments, and other mandates of regulatory institutions. Depending on the requirements, you will work on quantitative and qualitative analysis where you'll be applying different concepts of econometrics and statistics. Extracting, transforming, and cleansing the data is required for modeling and reporting. Providing support to financial audit for derivatives pricing model development and validation for banks and financial institutions. Performing market feasibility assessment and recommendations in terms of compliance and licensing for traditional banks, digital banks, and financial and non-financial institutions that are planning to enter the market and/or industry. Responsible for the examination and analysis of internal controls and compliance banks and fintech companies with the BSP Circulars, Issuances, Mandates, etc. You'll be providing recommendations to address any findings found and to improve the bank's compliance position. Other responsibilities: Preparation and delivery of engagement assignment Provide service to a wide variety of clients, while getting to know their unique business requirements and needs Follow risk management and compliance procedures. Bachelor's Degree: Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Engineering, or Business Management Certifications. Finance-related certifications: CFA, CPA, GARP FRM (not required) Work Experience. None required. Fresh grads are welcome to apply. Knowledge in programming and stat tools like R, Python, SQL, VBA, etc. is a plus. Competencies.
