Performs basic human resources services specifically in Rewards and Payroll administration.
1. Administers statutory benefits by
• Processing all applications for statutory benefits including the preparation of supporting documents
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all statutory benefit-related activities to facilitate access for reference purposes
• Liaising with the concerned government agencies on a regular basis by submitting requirements and making routine follow-ups for statutory benefits transactions
• Reconciling discrepancies in employee statutory records and directly coordinating with government agencies to settle complicated statutory benefit concerns
2. Monitors changes or updates pertaining to statutory benefits, makes recommendations to ensure the company's compliance with these changes and drafts communication materials for all concerned employees.
3. Prepares and submits periodic company and statutory reports in accordance with the relevant company, compliance and statutory guidelines.
4. Acts as administrator and ensures the systematic maintenance of the following systems, including enrolment/deletion of new hires and/or dependents' data and updating of employee profile
5. Manages the Rewards and Payroll shared mailbox and monitors status of requests and queries from employees and ensures that matters which have to be escalated to the C&B Officer and/or Strategic Rewards Manager are discussed and attended to immediately.
6. Administers company benefits by coordinating with concerned departments.
7. Monitors and prepares payment requests for statutory and company benefits and contracted external services in accordance with established time frames.
8. Perform other functions as may be required.
QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Accounting or other related courses
• At least 3 years experience in HR or Accounting.
• Statutory and company benefits administration
• Payroll and timekeeping administration
• Records management and basic labor laws
• Good presentation skills/techniques
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
