We're looking for Revenue Accountant who will have broad responsibilities across all functions, including exposure to accounting, reporting and analysis. This highly visible role will work closely with management and senior-level personnel on the Finance team, as well as cross-functional leaders throughout the company.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assisting with new US GAAP adoption projects, including but not limited to ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 340 deferred costs;
Reviewing transaction data, analyzing, allocating and calculating revenue for multi-element sales contracts for accurate and timely revenue recognition; Assisting with service projects standalone selling price revenue recognition, service tracking and service projects profit/loss analysis for North America Territory;
Assisting with revenue and AR reporting analysis;
Reviewing urgent CRM opportunities, processing urgent sales orders, and issuing invoices through various channels;
Issuing customer account statements, as needed;
Preparing vendor forms in North America Territory;
Other ad hoc revenue related tasks;
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a commensurate level of relevant accounting experience.
At least 4 years of work experience in managing revenue recognition and/or service project accounting.
A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to frequently adjust priorities and help the team out wherever needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to details.
Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel.
NetSuite/ERP experience is a plus.
Experience with software industry is a plus.
CPA is required (ACCA is a plus).
