Job Description
The Registered Lead Auditor / Responsible Business Services Lead Auditor is primarily responsible for the following:
He or She must be able to conduct audits either alone or as part of a team.
Responsible for planning for and leading the audit team in performing and completing pre-audit, on-site activity and reporting after the audit.
Reviewing and approving the desk study of auditors under training or supervision and the audit reports and reviewing proposals to clients.
In addition to audits they may undertake desktop review of self-assessment questionnaires and review correction action plans and evidence remotely.
Where no conflict of interest exists, they may also provide training services for either public or in-house training.
To support and drive the development of the CBE and RBS business locally, including international projects for the country
Also responsible for conducting specific training programs and providing assistance in marketing the division's services to clients and training auditors.
Specific Responsibilities
Conducts and completes the whole audit cycle, either as a team member or team leader in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
Prepares the audit plan including review of proposal worksheet and capability.
Conducts desk study of the client's management system.
Conducts audit on site according to procedures.
Checks the audit package prepared by another or junior auditor.
Prepares, completes audit package and updates client's files i.e. check sheet, etc.
Meet agreed turnaround times for reporting and other deliverables.
Reviews non-conformances or findings of auditors and raise own findings during the closing meeting.
Communicates with or attends to client inquiries related to the system standard where they had been qualified to audit.
Reviews and customizes training materials, when needed, and conducts training on specific programs as determined by the Division.
Provides coaching and performance feedback for auditors under training or supervision.
Support Sales and Marketing Executives activities. This may be through direct involvement in the sales process (client visits or calls) or through provision of technical or commercial support to local staff.
Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System
Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity
Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of departmental goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
Complies with the QHSE policies including but not limited to:
Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS HSE Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSE.
Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.
In accordance with the SGS HSE Management System requirements, disposes of, or directs the disposal of, waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all waste transportation and disposal regulations and requirements.
Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.
Uses all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to supervisor.
Maintain a safe and tidy worksite.
Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, HSE Representatives or relevant client / site contact.
Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management.
Qualifications
Educated to degree-level
Successfully completed recognised Lead Auditor training
Recognized approval as second-party auditor, or training to achieve such sign-off
Preferably with minimum two years' experience of supply chain activities
Communication skills, computer literate, meets IRCA requirements for RLA.
Ability to work under own initiative and in planning and prioritising workloads
Experience of project management (desirable)

Experience in managing/performing an activity related to the concerned product or similar
