Primary Responsibilities:
Lead multiple Network Engineering initiatives and projects consisting of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, testing, and integration. Provide feedback on project status, milestones, and risks
Manage multiple priorities and projects
Develop LAN/WAN strategies; evaluate and select hardware and software products, implement and integrate these products into comprehensive solutions meeting company's business requirements
Support data center facility/services and proactively monitor the health of all systems located at the data centers and take appropriate action when required. Perform after-hours systems support, installation, and maintenance as required
Provide specialized technical expertise in researching and resolving complex technology network infrastructure problems which may involve coordination of hardware and software vendor support
Advise department team members on procedures, techniques, and requirements to insure maximum performance and availability of the company infrastructure. Recommend areas for improvement in both processes and systems
Conduct implementations, conversions, and upgrades in a manner consistent with Standard Operating Procedures within company maintenance windows; including change management procedures
Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, project managers, and stakeholders
Author technical documentation such as network and data center diagrams
Work closely with vendors on implementation of products and services
Ensure security and operational standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with UHG IT compliance requirements, HIPAA standards, and industry best practices
Perform risk analysis to identify IT security issues and remediating plans. Identify and/or mitigate operational risks where appropriate
Initiate and drive Operations improvements and Transformation through automations and process improvements across the division
Set up departmental KRAs / KPIs and lead process improvement initiatives
Take control of and driving escalated P1/P2 incidents and war rooms by guiding the participants towards the most appropriate and time sensitive resolutions
Identify skill gaps within the team and ensure appropriate actions are taken to close the same
Be a thought leader and guide and coach the teams on emerging technologies within the Network Security domain

Required Qualifications:
Cisco - CCNP, CCIE, ITIL
Worked in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment, especially with North American clients
Hands-on experience supporting a diverse Network environment comprising of various products like Cisco ACI SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki products, Cisco routers, Cisco and Arista switches, F5 and A10 Load Balancers, Infoblox, Network traffic analyzers like Netscout
Advance level knowledge and implementation experience of ITIL processes like Service Request, Incident, Problem and Change Management
Played multiple roles; right from hands-on engineering to running day to day operations
Experience managing geographically diverse and international teams will be a huge advantage
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal skills with the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with members of cross departmental teams and department team members
Preferred Qualifications:
CCIE - Data Center or Routing and Switching
Intermediate level Certification in Service Operations
