Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities : Release Management: Own the release processes, recording and managing deviations, risks and issues and managing continuous improvements to ensure identified actions are successfully completed. To provide subject matter expertise to Release Management processes to ensure accurate information is available to support other operational processes and to enable informed decisions. Document and maintain Release Management processes, procedures, artefacts and training materials. Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations Participate in meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks to ensure the prompt and efficient deployment of all changes. Evaluate and recommend methods and tools for streamlining and improving the Release Management process Assist in the implementation of ITIL standards and processes. Responsible for the deployment of releases and the associated changes to production environment including closure of the Release and managing post implementation reviews. Perform day-to-day Release Management activities to ensure: Up to date forward plan of the agreed release windows and cycles across projects Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists Manage and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Deal with emergency changes Key Responsibilities: To manage release schedules in Production and Non-production environments Create the Release plan & release process template Support capacity planning, inventory and reporting Identify, manage and mitigate release scheduling risks and issues Identify and manage cross project release conflicts Continuously evolve and optimize non-production release management processes to ensure successful and timely project delivery Work with key Delivery and Operations stakeholders to execute production release techniques Responsible for delivering robust Environment Release Solutions Validate deployment parties are following post release process
