Job Description:
Job Summary
Reporting to the Asia Pacific Regulatory Manager, the Regulatory Specialist I is responsible for maintaining various product certifications, and supporting the integrity of the data in Company systems. This position will also assist some improvement project base for Australia/New Zealand site and also involve interaction with other regional Asia Pacific team and other global Company locations.
By developing their knowledge of industry regulations and ensuring the completeness of the data pertaining to those regulations within our main ERP systems, the Regulatory Specialist I will play a key role within our internal team by supporting the most important part of our business: our customers.
Responsibilities:
Collecting, reviewing, and maintaining supplier documentation of raw materials for local and potentially other Asia pacific region.
Updating raw material and finished product information stored within the Company's main ERP systems with data from suppliers, industry associations, customers, legislation, and quality specifications
Preparation of information to submit to various regulatory agencies for product certifications, including, but not limited to: Philippines FDA, Organic, Halal & Kosher agencies within Asia Pac region in particular supporting Australia and New Zealand site.
Comply with Integrated System Policy, Integrated Manual, Procedures Management System, and approved Work Instructions
Creating and reviewing of specifications, SDS, compliance statement as required.
Improvement and project base task and any other duties as directed by the APAC Regulatory Manager.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
MS Office user level proficiency
Education & Experience
4 year degree in Food Science or equivalent
Knowledge of local food regulations.
1-2 years of experience in related or food regulatory field preferred
Fundamentals of quality standards
