We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Executive who will be responsible for the development and implementation of regulatory strategies with the prompt and complete registration of all NPI new and current products, labels and packaging and other matters of regulatory impact. Ensure compliance of all registered Nestlé products.
A day in the life
Product Approvals
Develop and monitor the implementation of regulatory strategies for all new products to ensure prompt and timely product approvals.
Provide regulatory input to dossiers for regulatory submissions, with supporting materials that addresses potential queries, risk factors and/or issues
Provide insight, anticipate internal and external risk factors on existing registration processes and develop plans that addresses potential risk o Identify and develop opportunities to improve/enhance registration processes and recommend preventive solutions to assessed risks.
Challenge and build business processes in response to new opportunities and addressing internal and external environment evolutions (competition, regulatory, business landscape)
Regulatory Strategy
Build and implement regulatory plans to influence and shape the regulatory environment to facilitate business opportunities
Address specific education needs as required to meet business objectives
Defend ideas and plans that lead to approval and acceptance of the company's position and actions
Recommend and develop innovative business proposition that differentiates us from others (competition)
Accurately anticipate business risks and proactively implement strategies to influence internal and external stakeholders
Influence KOL and regulator networks in line with company positions
Ensure that all the necessary licenses to operate of the company are current and valid.
Leads and Implements processes and procedures to monitor and ensure compliance with all (food composition, labeling, advertising etc) relevant local regulations
Build and implement action plans that minimizes potential impact of nonconformance or risks and recommend measures to prevent reoccurrence
Identifies critical information that advocate support of the company's position in related regulations
Ensure that all marketed products conform to registered product specifications.
Ensure that all promotional materials and activities comply with local regulations.
Submit to regulatory authorities all adverse events as per health authority regulations.
What will make you successful
At least 10 years working experience in regulatory preferably in FMCG or food industry.
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Pharmacy or related fields
Highly knowledgeable in FDA regulations and practices; knowledgeable in international regulation standards (Codex; ASEAN) is an added advantage.
Up to date with market trends utilizing information for business improvement
Able to put forward company's position to be taken up by the industry group
Have good working relationship with related government agencies and regulatory bodies
