Objectives of the Position
To support new product registration dossier preparations, renewal registrations and amendments of BASF products currently registered at Fertilizers and Pesticides Authority (FPA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
To ensure administrative tasks are carried out properly, to maintain an electronic or hardcopy filing systems for organizational records and to efficiently handle and monitor registration samples receiving, status, documentation, and inventory.
To prepare documents needed for new product registrations, renewal submissions and label expansions that will support business growth.
Main Areas of Responsibilities:
Ensure that all Licenses-to-Operate (LTO), Certificates of Product Registrations (CPR) and Product Dossiers are received, maintained properly and securely archived.
Assist in the preparation of product dossiers for new registrations as well as label expansions and Third-Part Authorizations, coordinate with accredited researchers for local field trial status and needed samples for third-party laboratory analysis.
Facilitate Active Ingredients and Formulated Products samples requisition as well as reagents needed for confirmatory analysis, 3rd party laboratory analysis and for field trial use up to receiving including monitoring and coordination of samples delivery status and shipment documents.
Prepare work schedule with reference to the approved trial protocol and project cost. Consequently, coordinate field trial payment requests through sales invoices once contract is signed and ensure cheque availability to researchers.
Assist the Regulatory Affairs Specialist and/or Manager in the preparation of renewal registration requirements for Crop Protection and Professional & Specialty Solutions products as well as license to operate and warehouse registration renewal.
Support the Regulatory Affairs Specialist and/or Manager in registration amendments/variations, e.g., change in recipe, Active Ingredients sources, packaging & other modifications.
Draft packaging label from Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for artwork development in coordination with local marketing.
Provide administrative help to the Regulatory Affairs Specialist and/or Manager for stewardship activities such as PPE request, collation of training records for renewal registration and monitor e-learning/e-Reporting.
Maintain up-to-date information in Regulatory Affairs database monitoring especially CPR/LTO Summary or Master list.
Minimum Education and Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in science-based courses such as Biology, Chemistry, and Agriculture with Major in Entomology, Pathology or Agronomy-Weed Science
At least 1-2 years of experience in registration management, crop and pest control biology trials set-up (design, analysis), agronomy, horticultural field experience or pesticide regulatory affairs
Knowledgeable of science-based principles and practices, registration requirements and guidelines, agricultural experiment or trial set-up and statistical analysis.
With sample management and project management skills.
Has good organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Proficient in Windows and MS Office Applications.
Demonstrate high level of energy and maintain stable performance under pressure.
Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and integrity at work.
Proactive, can work independently and in teams.
Willing to work under contract for 12 months.
