YOUR ROLE
To support in managing and monitoring of air logistics team members training activities within the region. In particular, those activities initiated by Regional and Corporate Air Logistics Management. To collaborate with the Regional and National Systems and Process teams in projects, ensuring transparency and visibility to the Regional Air Logistics Business Unit at all levels.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with Regional Trainer, Systems Manager, Process Manager, ZA-ON to ensure each air logistics team member receives the level of corporate standard training appropriate to his or her job.
Assists in administration of the Base Training/induction courses in the region.
Delivery of further corporate standard training to end-users, where and when appropriate, and the supervision and co-planning of such training when delivered by others.
Together with regional and national Human Resources (HR) departments, to ensure that the training needs of new employees and existing staff are identified.
Ensures that end-users are fully trained in operational software releases.
Ensures that staff employed in the region are fully trained to the required level, when new branches or departments are added to the existing organizational structure.
Ensures that regional variation in operational software and working practices, are reflected in the content of the training being delivered.
Staying up to date with new operational software releases and their impact on training requirement.
Assists and ensure that the content of training originating in the region is maintained to corporate standards.
Assists and monitoring via the Training Management Tool (Learning at KN) to ensure that all regional training is delivered and recorded correctly.
Assists in reporting to the appropriate regional and national management, to ensure that attendance standards are maintained.
Provide training support for other corporate applications, roll-outs or campaigns.
The co-ordination of regional and local training initiatives, where these exists, as complementary additions to corporate standards.
Assists in any other tasks and duties as assigned
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Minimum 3 years operational background in the KNGS, or equivalent Branch Operations
Minimum 1 year Team Leader responsibility in KNGS
Related Degree in Logistics, Transportation, IT and Business
Additional professional and / or industry qualifications such as Train the Trainer, Dangerous Goods Certification,
Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarders Certification etc,
Basic knowledge of KN systems
Basic knowledge of KN operations
English fluency
High degree of organizational and administrative skill
Self-disciplined and motivated
Ability to communicate on a professional level with stakeholders
Travel flexibility
Temporary relocation may be required during project implementation
Flexible working hours
