YOUR ROLE
To assist Regional Systems Manager in ensuring the required functionalities of the operational air logistics software in Region are setup optimally for smooth and efficient operations. To assist in documenting and producing technical as well as forwarding solutions to be applied. To act as a Third Level Support for the Region.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in ensuring the availability of the functionalities which enable the optimal use of the operational system within the operational process. This includes assisting in maintaining regional and local set ups (eg Documents, Exchange rates, VAT rules) and regional and local masterdata.
Provide first-line user support by giving functional as well as methodological guidance.
Assists in coordinating with Regional IT Application Services in implementation and approval and testing of software releases within the region, according to the standards and timescales determined at corporate level.
Working with various teams to ensure that the setup and configuration of operational software in each country and KNGS within the region conform to corporate standards.
Acting as information conduit between the region and the Corporate Airfreight Systems team, for all other matters concerning system functionality.
Assists the Regional and National Process teams in maintaining, an up-to-date awareness of operational processes and translating these into functional requirements related to the software.
Assists in communicating and aligning functional requirements originating in the region with the Corporate Airfreight Systems team.
Working together with other teams to ensure that training content keeps pace with system upgrades.
Assists in Analyzing and detailed defining of local functional software requirements together with Application Service teams for development of local additions to the standard corporate operational software and subsequent testing of these.
Direct support to Users, whenever required.
To participate and document in the testing and implementation of new releases in cooperation with the Regional Systems Team.
Work with Systems tools (Jira, WIKI etc.) for Project management
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Minimum 3 years operational background in the KNGS, or equivalent Branch Operations
Minimum 1 year Team Leader responsibility in KNGS
Related Degree in IT and Business
Advanced systems knowledge
Basic knowledge of KN operations
Ability to read, understand, and apply system informational publications (e.g. Releases and change requests)
Affinity to automation and technical concepts and systems
Ability to investigate system issues and seek resolutions
Good knowledge of English
High degree of organizational and administrative skill
Self-disciplined and motivated
Ability to communicate on a professional level with customer countries
Able to communicate, collaborate and motivate all stakeholders
Ability to focus and optimize processes and quality
Ability to transfer knowledge to KNGS users
