Main purpose of the job:
The Regional Data Governance Manager is responsible for the overall data management strategy for the SEASA region. He/she will traffic and implement solutions to accurately capture, process, transfer, map, and decide the right data transformations among multiple legacy and native UFS systems used while localizing to the market's needs. He/she will also decide on data control standards and data decay guidelines keeping all vital information in technical documentation with regulated access rights to the right stakeholders.
Job Scope:
Strong technical skills, experience, and understanding of data management strategies
Able to define, analyze, diagnose, recommend, build and implement solutions that resolve functionality problems to support the development of business metrics and generation of reports for faster business decisions
Be able to develop data acquisition and treatment process for multiple data forms & fields inbound UFS servers
Have own initiative to independently recognize requirements, develop solutions, and implement them as needed and provide guidance to project teams on governance frameworks
Ability to manage SharePoint, Azure Data Warehouses, Databricks within a fast-paced enterprise environment
Establish automated processes that enable effectively acquiring, tracking, and quality controlling data from multiple teams and liaising with global platform owners for effective data transfer
Expertise in understanding requirements provided by non-technical stakeholders and creating a solution that provides them with the functional capabilities they need for make an accurate analysis
Support partner teams in developing their data management strategies to seamlessly integrate with the central tracking tools. Integrate with existing data systems.
Ensures databases are designed to meet specifications and requirements at lowest possible cost to the business.
Leads standards on Data Decay, Data Quality, Data Validation and owns Data Privacy guidelines for region
Conducts Data Standard trainings and monitor data adherence throughout all available systems
Conduct Data Impact Assessments to review the appropriateness of the proposed data architecture and network design
Ability to produce and maintain technical documentation and network architectural diagrams for the region
Lead a Business Glossary initiative to include an expanded set of critical data elements and supporting data
Assist with the definition of Data Management Standards to support the Data Management Policies
Qualifications:
5 years of confirmed working experience with managing data infrastructures, data governance, data privacy and data mapping
Working knowledge with SAP, Marketing Automation tools (such as Salesforce & Marketo)
Experience with implementing end to end governance solutions with any of these tools such as Informatica
Experience developing data transfer in integration interfaces with other solutions as well as migration
Current or prior experience in data quality management
Have a leadership attitude to help spread out the data quality mindset across the platform
Database querying tools (JIRA)
