regional Accounts Receivable supervisor, seapacCummins

We are looking for a talented Regional Accounts Receivable Manager who can drive a reduction in aged debt, establish positive relationships with stakeholders and customers and lead a team of collectors to achieve their best for multiple Cummins businesses in the Asia Pacific region.
Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for Cummins Business Services with 5 direct reports, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Full understanding of differing requirements per country of Accounts Receivable
Implementation of best practise receivables methodologies
Development and motivation of the collection and reconciliation team
Work across multiple currencies and regional customers
Oversee reports on receivables, receipts, disputes, and account balances
Month end accounting close reporting, reconciliations, and forecasting
Manage customer accounts/profiles in the system
Work closely with stakeholders to influence progress on collection from customers
Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders and drive resolution
Recommend changes in methods and procedures to improve efficiency
Manage and lead the AR end-to-end collections process for different businesses utilising differing tools and systems, and
Process improvement development and implementation aligned with global Cummins.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum of 5 years working experience in leading an AR function with multinational stakeholders.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related
Experience working with multiple ERP systems is favourable
Experience working in a shared service or BPO environment and managing remotely will be highly regarded
Aptitude for relationship building and dealing with difficult customers
Excellent communication skills with local and regional stakeholders
Sense of urgency and tenacity to follow up promptly with customers and stakeholders
