Background
Our company came out of Y Combinator in 2015. Since then we've grown to 1000+ remote workers, with strong venture-backing (including Sequoia Capital) and over $30M in funding to date. We are fully remote across Asia and US time zones.
Why this role exists
The Recruitment Specialist is primarily responsible for recruiting and hiring qualified candidates to fill the manpower requirements of the company. Ensures that standard recruitment and selection processes are observed consistently. Implements branding and sourcing programs and activities to ensure active pipeline of candidates.
What are your responsibilities:
Collaborates with hiring manager in identifying the details of the requisition, the qualifications and job description
Involve in the strategic planning of completing the manpower requirements of the requisitioning department
Ensures completeness of approval sign-offs of the manpower request
Utilizes different recruitment channels in sourcing for qualified candidates
Initiates, administers, evaluates and reports candidate assessment
Conducts initial and behavioral interviews
Endorses qualified candidates to hiring managers. Schedules the 2nd/3rd level interviews of candidates with the hiring managers.
Guides hiring managers in making hiring decisions by providing detailed candidate assessment.
Ensures completion of reference/background checks on selected candidates prior to job offer
Creates a salary proposal that matches the current and expected salary of the candidate
Extends the job offer to the selected candidate. Prepares the employment letter and job offer kit.
Provides timely feedback to candidates. Answers inquiries, follow ups, concerns of candidates.
Coordinates with the on-boarding associate, Training Team and Line Managers in preparing the on-boarding plan for the new hire
Requirements
Experience required - At least 3 years of experience in a fast paced recruitment industry
Education required: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Business or Organization Management
Familiarity using an Applicant Tracking System
Proven experience in recruitment data analysis
Preferably has experience interviewing offshore candidates
Able to work night shift if needed
