Recruitment Coordinator will support the Recruitment Manager in executing Employer Branding strategy in effort to attract high quality candidates. Will handle all aspects of high volume recruitment and onboarding needs for GCO shipboard employment fr Recruitment Coordinator will support the Recruitment Manager in executing Employer Branding strategy in effort to attract high quality candidates. Will handle all aspects of high volume recruitment and onboarding needs for GCO shipboard employment from sourcing the most suitable talent through candidate screening and hiring, to processing and onboarding all new hires and rehires, ensuring each holds all relevant valid documentation to join a vessel. This team member will liaise with our hiring partners and candidates to ensure that all required documents for boarding GCO vessels are correct and valid for assignment. Specific duties include: Review applications to determine eligibility for shipboard casino employment. Training to be provided. Conduct reference inquiries, and where applicable, background checks for potential hired applicants. Set up interviews & prescreen applicants via live and prerecorded interviews for some specialized roles within the shipboard casino environment. Based on the interview experience, provide notes and ratings to support hiring decision. Follow up required to put suitable technical applicants in front of Technical Operational Management for final interview. Follow through with job offers or rejections. Introduce successful applicant with regional manning partner to support onboarding. Act as the regional manning partner, where applicable to support onboarding, and be capable of answering specific questions in relation to medicals and travel documentation preparation. Sync this as necessary with current recruitment website. New Hire shipboard casino staff data entry in Company's crew personnel system (CPS), including new team member creation, personal identification documents (passport, medical, travel visas, uniform) where agency support does not exist, issuing Letters of Employment (LOE) and entering New Hire assignments as provided by GCO HR Schedulers. Record accurate status updates within GCO's master tracking recruitment file by correlating details / information from manning partners around the globe on a weekly basis - to evaluate new hire processing progress and identify bottle neck areas, new hires ready for scheduling, new hire cancelations, etc. Sync this as necessary with current recruitment website (i.e. cancelations) & CPS. Provide reference letters for past and current shipboard casino employees, across all brands, as needed. Not yet fully automated. Candidate Qualifications: 1-2 years of HR administrative/data entry experience required, recruiting experience preferred. Previous gaming experience in a live casino and/or shipboard experience considered a plus, but not essential. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams. Knowledge of travel or travel related industry, visa requirements, and good knowledge of world geography and time zones. Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in product work. Decision making skills. Excellent communication skills - both verbally and in writing. Reliability with respect to confidentiality. Ability to work independently.
