Job Description:
This role leads our Quality Systems team while identifying further opportunities for automation and improvement aligned to business objectives. You will lead a group of technical specialists to drive the technical and infrastructure needs of the quality program for the Quality Assurance group. As part of this role, you will define the most efficient methods to store, present and enable corrective action by developing tools and applications. You will lead the infrastructure used by Quality Assurance to ensure adequate capacity and performance. You may need to self-learn in the subject-domains relevant to the Business Delivery Teams, including the financial content and systems, concepts or methods used by the various teams. Beyond this, you should have a good sense of numbers and data analysis. You will be articulate and able to connect with technical and non-technical people.
This is a role for someone who enjoys technical challenges and who wants to be on the front-line of developing tools to lead Refinitiv data quality. Database Quality Assurance has invested much effort into developing an outstanding technical analysis culture: you will be a key role model for the group and so must be hardworking with a can-do demeanour: someone who jumps over obstacles, loves instructing people, and leads by setting an example.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve existing Quality infrastructure to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently.
Agree with senior colleagues to determine high-level business requirements for automation, tools, and applications.
Figure out the scope, complexity, and size efforts required to ensure adequate capacity and performance.
Work closely with the management of Business Delivery and Shared Service teams, content specialists, and other technologists to ensure each technical solution program is relevant and addresses customer needs as a priority.
Design and implement new tools to provide automated solutions as required.
You will need to keep a flexible work schedule to overlap with colleagues in other time-zone locations.

A detailed understanding of data analysis or general quantitative aptitude.
Experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures, and loading data into a variety of database systems. Databases can include MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle.
Solid understanding of technology tools such as Python, HTML, CSS, Java, Django, XML, MS Visual Studio, and Linux.
Awareness of the latest technical advances in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Graph Databases with RDF and SPARQL.
Experience in process automation and intelligent workflow.
