Job Description
The QA/ RND Manager ensures that all products meet basic Food Safety
and Quality requirements and that all procedures pertaining to Quality Assurance are in placed, monitored, reviewed, and improved whenever necessary. S/he takes the lead in the development of new products and/or processes
Salary: 70,000 Php
Ability to commute/relocate:
Pasig City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Duties:
Quality Assurance
• Make sure that incoming products and or raw materials are within set standards in terms
of basic food safety and specifications
o Review QC inspection report and ensure that results are being sent within the
set timeline (Local 24 hours, imported 72 hours)
o Review pre-shipment inspection report submitted by suppliers
o Ensure that incoming products have certificate of analysis, health certificates
micro and chemical analysis
• Document and implement HACCP
• Document quality deviation for expired and non moving products and give final
recommendation and disposition in close coordination with Sales and Marketing
Manager
• Enforce timely recall of products whenever necessary
• Validate and attend to all customer complaints and giving corresponding corrective and
preventive action
• Conduct Internal Food Safety and Quality Audit twice a year
• Document quality programs as requested by third party auditor or client
o Reviews and revise existing quality programs whenever necessary
• Implement existing quality programs
• Calibrate equipment once a year
• Adhere to regular swab test and water potability test
• Pest control implementation
• Comply with all regulatory requirements pertaining to Quality Assurance (LTO Sanitary
Permit, Employee Health Certificate)
• Conduct periodic training/seminar on GMP, Food Safety, Food Security to new and all
relevant employees
