Work schedule: Night shift following Canadian hours (flexible)

Job Summary
This role provides continuous testing of web applications and oversees changes to new functionality deployment for enterprise-level software. The incumbent is responsible for continual development and execution of UAT test plans and QA strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive improvement and automation through QA process
Responsible for coordinating and communicating release schedules to all stakeholders
Execute testing to ensure quality and to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of all software applications
Log bugs and work with Developers in resolving them
Ensure all testing standards are being met by employees
Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures
Work with development and deployment teams to ensure new functionality is properly deployed in a timely manner
Conduct impact assessment to determine how change requests may affect overall system
Conduct and participate in reviews throughout the development life cycle
Conduct troubleshooting activities & investigation analysis, as needed
Maintain complete and accurate change control records as well as end user & internal documentation on system functionality
Assist in estimation of new development tasks

Director of Business Solutions, Enterprise
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in IT; courses in quality assurance are a definite asset
5+ years of experience in testing and QA automation, with proven experience leading IT teams
Experience using Selenium
Preferably with experience working with ERP systems, such as Dynamics 365 BC or GP
SQL experience is a plus
Excellent working knowledge of Quality Systems
Experience creating documentation and validation programs
Must have exposure to software development & testing methodologies
Ability to independently analyze and reconcile moderate to complex issues
Excellent written communications skills with high attention to detail
Resourceful, able to multi-task and work within tight timelines
Must be amenable to work predominantly night shift (North American hours)
